Jury duty

I went to jury duty bright and early on Monday morning. I got there a few minutes late due to traffic and finding parking. I had to put $10 in $5 parking space because I didn't have change. I really need to start carrying more cash. The jury duty process was painstakingly long but informative nonetheless. I felt like I was traveling being stuck with so many random strangers. The case I was being selected for was some domestic violence case. In the process of selecting the jury (voir dire) the case got resolved. It was really interesting to hear the different views the fellow jurors had. It definitely is a long and tedious process. I hated that I was dressed up when I could have dressed like a bum. Oh well, at least the courthouse was pretty! Oh, and I also got paid (woohoo $6.00)!

Since I recently have been sending my sister a picture of the day, I thought I would start a photo blog to document the daily adventures of my life. I guess it also motivates me to use my camera and camera apps more. Say cheese?

Annoyed

It doesn't surprise me that I haven't written on here in a year but, a) I forgot, and b) I never have anything important to write about. Probably the only time I feel the urge to write is when I want to bitch and whine about something. Usually those become a facebook status and life goes on. However, sometimes I feel like it wouldn't a bad idea to let it out on here so I can collect my thoughts. This past week was kind of crazy, I was supposed to have a test but it kept getting canceled because of the snowpocalypse. So basically, I did not get to enjoy my snow days off. I also spent a lot of time doing extra-credit homework for a class and then ended up skipping the day it was due being the lazy-ass that I am. Also, my car was snowed in and as a result guess who ended up with $70 in parking tickets? Moi! On top of that, I pretty much hate the living situation that I am in. I am so sick of roommates and would really love to live alone. You would think that after living with different people for so long, you would acclimate to it and learn to handle the little glitches that make roommates so annoying. I am tired of it. I try to be civil about matters that annoy me but when the person is a mega bitch it really ticks me off. All I want is some respect. Everything from the furniture to the kitchen stuff is mine with exception of the living room tv, a table, a book shelf, and a mini fridge. So i like my stuff to be cleaned or kept in certain manner so that it isn't easily destroyed. Is that Wrong? I don't think so. I hate that I get attitude instead. Being the bigger person is getting to be irritating especially when I am doing it constantly. Will I ever win?
